Nashville Two Rivers Campground is conveniently located next to Camping World just off route 155 on the upper east side of Nashville. Everything is just minutes away and several shuttle services will pick you up at the campground office. The new Opry Mills Shopping center is just two miles away and has every store and restaurant you could want. Another nearby attraction is Music Row at only 13 miles away and if you drive it takes about 20 minutes. But again the shuttle services will pick you up and deliver you anywhere you want on Music Row. And if you are visiting for a sporting event the Bridgestone Arena is also where Music Row is located in Downtown Nashville. And the Nisson Stadium is just a couple blocks away from Bridgestone Arena so parking downtown during events is costly and hard to find.
During our visit, we enjoyed the great food and live music at Blake Shelton’s newly opened Ole Red on Music Row. At the time of this writing, you could also find Ole Red in Gatlinburg, Tn. and Tishomingo, OK. But we only visited the one in Nashville, TN. The food was high quality and the staff was amazing. It was mid-afternoon around two ‘o clock on a Thursday when we went and we had to wait about 45 minutes for a table. But this is the usual wait time for anyplace on Music Row during the afternoon. Go for dinner and you can expect an hour and a half wait everywhere.
We were fortunate enough to be there during the CMA Fest, so every day all day was a packed venue downtown with many streets blocked off for vendors and live performances. You don’t have to visit any of the bars to enjoy the festival as many of them have large windows and doors open to the outside, so you can hear as if you were inside. It was fun to walk several blocks and hear all the artist play as you walk by each establishment.
