The park is owned and run by Jeff and Cindy, a husband and wife team that pours their heart into the daily activities to keep this place in spectacular condition. If you ever find anything not working just tell Jeff or Cindy and they will remedy the situation instantly. Cindy is always organizing some sort of event at the park. They have Jeep trail ride groups, ice cream socials, and even some live entertainment at times.

One of the best Mexican restaurants we have ever eaten at is located in Buena Vista and you can read our review of Lorenzo’s here. Or if you prefer a great steak or chicken dinner try The Lariat! The Lariat offers some fantastic meals at a very affordable price.
Jeff and Cindy purchased the park in 2007. We had the pleasure of sitting with them one evening and hearing their story of how they became the owners of this RV park. The couple had previously owned a ranch in Nebraska. Their journey began when Jeff found out that his job with the power company would require him to relocate his family to another state. Jeff and Cindy decided if they had to give up their ranch and relocate they were going to do so on their own terms. So, with huge amounts of faith, they decided to sell the ranch and all the equipment associated with it so they could find an RV park to purchase and operate. Neither of them had ever run an RV park before so this whole experience was new to them. But in the end, they found a way to sell the ranch while simultaneously finding an RV park to purchase and in a state they wanted to live in. We’re so happy they have made such a wonderful destination park for folks like us to enjoy!
This RV park was not as lovely when they purchased it as it is now. Jeff had created many of the great sculptures you will see here. Like the metal dinosaurs, you see in our pictures. And the fantastic site markers are steel signs the Jeff created also. Cindy works continuously behind the scenes in the office to keep everything flowing seamlessly. They have poured money into the infrastructure of this park and now have the ability to offer you a spot for the night in your 45′ coach, or, a spot to park your pop-up camper for the entire season. They can accommodate any RV.
Because they book up quickly and for several months in advance, you want to make reservations early. They are home to special events like the FMCA Jeep rally every fall. And because people like us tell you how great they are, we expect the waiting list to get a bit longer.
