Blake Shelton’s Ole Red Restaurant is a new addition to the Nashville Music Row. Music Row is a few blocks in downtown Nashville filled with clubs, pubs, and restaurants that offer live entertainment, food, and drinks. Ole Red, like most establishments on Musci Row, offers live music all day every day and has some fantastic food. The multi-level building offers seating on the main floor, and above in the balcony. We enjoyed our visit when we stayed at the Two Rivers Campground in Nashville during the summer of 2018.
As an appetizer, we ordered the Redneck Nachos. These are a delicious treat with Kettle Chips, Smoked Chicken, Rotel Cheese Sauce, Pickled Peppers, Avocado, Sour Cream, Barbecue Sauce, and Green Onions. For our entree, we shared the Blue Tick Burger and fries but they were not just a plain burger and fries. The meat is high-quality meat and the house cut fries are delicious. I would eat here once a week if we lived in the area!
All day every day multiple artists will be playing on the stage. You may get to hear a long time legend, or it may be some new up and coming singer or group. But regardless who is on the stage you are sure to enjoy the atmosphere here. The stage and audio system make you forget this is free entertainment while you eat. It is highly suggested you make a reservation before you head over to eat. The usual wait time is anywhere from 30 minutes when they are not busy and up to two hours when they are busy. We waited forty-five minutes on a Thursday afternoon at two ‘o clock. If you plan going here for dinner, especially on a weekend, you should make reservations in advance to avoid an extensive wait time.
